Dear Brothers and Sisters,

Imagine this: You’ve reached the pinnacle of your career, enjoying success and recognition that many only dream of.

But what if, in an instant, you lost it all? Your title, your status, your security, gone. How would you react?

Would your trust in the Lord’s provision remain steadfast, or would you find yourself clinging to the very things that once defined you?

Facing the Unthinkable

Losing everything can be a harrowing experience. It forces us to confront our values and priorities. Are we relying on our achievements and possessions for fulfillment? If you cannot envision life without them, they may have become idols in your heart.

The Call to Trust

In times of uncertainty, it is crucial to remember that the Lord has a perfect plan for each of us, one that encompasses the best will and timing. Trusting Him means believing that even in loss, He is working for our good. This faith can transform despair into hope.

Reassess Your Priorities

Take a moment to reflect:

  • What do you truly value?

  • Are there aspects of your life where you've placed undue importance?

  • How can you realign your focus towards what truly matters, your faith and relationship with God?

Embrace His Plans

While losing everything can feel devastating, it often opens new doors that we never imagined possible. The Lord's plans may lead us down paths filled with opportunities for growth and purpose far beyond what we initially envisioned.

As you navigate through life's ups and downs, remember:

With every challenge comes a chance to deepen your trust in God’s provision. He is always faithful.

Are you ready to let go of idols and embrace a life fully aligned with His will?

Wishing you peace and clarity,

David Poh
