Dear Brothers and Sisters,
As people of faith, we are called to be good stewards of the resources entrusted to us by the Lord.
Instead of simply indulging in bigger houses or fancier cars, we have an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those facing poverty and hardship.
Financial Stewardship: A Reflection of Our Faith
The Bible teaches us that everything we have ultimately belongs to God.
We are merely caretakers of His blessings, and we are accountable for how we manage them.
By practicing faithful financial stewardship, we can honor the Lord and reflect His heart for the poor and marginalized.
Eliminating Poverty: A Divine Mandate
Throughout Scripture, we are commanded to care for the needy and work towards the elimination of poverty.
This is not just a suggestion, but a core tenet of our faith.
When we use our resources to support those in need, we are not only obeying God's call, but also experiencing the joy of being a blessing to others.
Blessed to Be a Blessing
The Lord has been incredibly generous in pouring out His blessings upon us.
Rather than selfishly hoarding these blessings, we are compelled to share them with those who are struggling.
By doing so, we not only honor God but also position ourselves to receive even greater blessings in return.
Take Action Today
I encourage you to prayerfully consider how you can put your faith into action through faithful financial stewardship.
Whether it's donating to a local charity, sponsoring a child in need, or volunteering your time and talents, every act of generosity has the power to transform lives and glorify our Heavenly Father.
Together, let us be a shining example of God's love and compassion, using our resources to make a lasting impact on our community and the world.
Blessings,
David Poh
