Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As I celebrate one of my brother-in-Christ's upcoming wedding, I'm reminded of the profound importance of unity in financial stewardship within a marriage.

It's a crucial element that can either strengthen your bond or create rifts if not approached thoughtfully.

Reflecting on my own journey, I've made the decision to give back 50% of my investment gains to the Lord.

This choice is a testament to my belief that without His guidance and blessings, these gains would not be possible.

I am incredibly grateful for my wife's unwavering support in this commitment. But what if she didn't stand by me?

This brings us to the heart of good stewardship, it should unite families rather than tear them apart.

Here are three actionable steps you can take to foster unity in your financial journey:

1. Pray for Unity: Start with prayer as a couple, seeking guidance and wisdom from God. This spiritual connection lays the foundation for making decisions together.

2. Attend Seminars/Workshops Together: Engaging in learning opportunities about financial stewardship can enhance your understanding and align your goals as a couple. Look for local or online workshops that focus on budgeting, investing, and charitable giving.

3. Read Books on Stewardship Together: Choose books that resonate with both of you regarding finances and values. Discussing insights from these readings will deepen your understanding of each other's perspectives.

By taking these steps, you can create a harmonious approach to financial stewardship that fosters peace and joy within your marriage.

Let's embrace this journey together, because when we are united in our financial vision, we pave the way for a prosperous future filled with love and support.

May peace and joy be with you and family always…

Blessings,

David Poh
